Music Class Day 1:
First, listen to and practice singing
Finally, explore the interactive game "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra" (requires Flash player - do this on a computer/Chromebook) Be sure to click "Local Game," which does not require you to log in.

Music Class Day 2:
First, listen to and practice singing
- "Ode to Joy" and
- "Oye" - with the dance moves! Practice singing AND dancing! 😊
Then, read "The Firebird Story."
Finally, turn on this recording of the Firebird Finale, and while it plays, see if you can follow your way along the listening map next to the Firebird Story (above). You'll want the story open in one tab and the music in another tab.

Next, take a look at this spread of all the orchestral instruments and see how many you can name without reading the name!
Finally, let's do some rhythm review! Go to the Rhythm Randomizer and practice at least TEN PATTERNS by
- READING them (walk, run-run, rest)
- CLAPPING them (while still reading out loud) and
- PLAYING them on a household instrument (pot with a wooden spoon? 😊)
